Best Buy Label

We've been running our Best Buy Label scheme since 2003 as an independent trademark that ethically-focussed companies can license to promote their products and services.

Ethical Consumer 's Best Buy Label helps companies to communicate the core environmental and ethical values that their product or service represents.

In each issue of Ethical Consumer magazine we examine the ethical and environmental track record of the companies behind everyday products and services from bread to banks.

Based on these findings we recommend a number of Best Buys.

These recommended Best Buy companies are then eligible to sign up to our Best Buy Label scheme which enables them to use the label across all their marketing channels.

Companies can also apply for an ethical screening and any company which rates very highly could become eligible to sign up to the Best Buy Label too.
